I travel almost every 3 weeks and I can hands down say that this was one of my best experiences to date at a boutique hotel. From arriving till leaving I felt at home and the staff took care of anything and everything. When I say that, I mean it. This morning (I've just left) the hotel manager, Miguel, heard I couldn't make it to breakfast due to meetings before checking out, so he made me a to go breakfast, based on what I had for the last 3 days, and had it delivered to my room so I wouldn't go hungry. From sitting by the pool talking to other guest and laughing with staff through the all the little annoyances, the team was on top of it regardless of the hour or the issue. Genuinely very impressed and if we come back to Curacao we know where we will be staying, that's for certain. Thanks Darrel, Tiji, Miguel and everyone else who made this a fantastic experience for us both.

**Beautiful resort, but disappointing food and service** The resort itself is beautiful, and our room was nice and comfortable\. The beach was also very nice, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay\. Unfortunately, the food and service were a major disappointment\. Unless you go to Brass Boer the dining options are very average\. The other three restaurants essentially offer the same menu, with only one or two items changed between them\. If you want a significantly better dinner at Brass Boer be prepared to spend around $$$$ for three people**, which is extremely expensive\. There is also pizza available at Tribu Wednesday through Sunday\. It was decent, but nothing special — basically average pizza — and at about $$ per pizza, you’re still looking at around $$$ for three people** for a simple pizza dinner\. The service throughout the resort was also disappointing\. For a resort of this level and price, we expected much better service and a better dining experience\. I would also strongly recommend renting a car\. Everything is quite spread out, and having a car makes it much easier to explore the island and get to restaurants and other places outside the resort\. Overall, the **room and beach were nice**, but the food, service, and overall value were not what we expected\. I would not choose this resort again primarily because of the dining and service experience\.

Manage your expectations- the resort is not luxury or upscale, but was "fine" overall. Our family has been to over a dozen all inclusive resorts all across the Caribbean, so we have clear standards for what makes a resort good or great. The check in process was a bad. The deposit we paid to Expedia did not transfer to the hotel so we had to pay the whole amount at check in. When we got to our room we noticed that all the rooms are accessible on the exterior of the corridors. This may not be a big deal to some, but it felt cheap. The rooms are also dated. Our shower was missing a door as was our closet. The TV didn't work & there was very little light in the room beyond the window/sliding door (which is all you need during the day, but night was a different story). The resort felt like it was half-staffed when we went in July 2026. It didn't feel like there were enough staff for the number of guests. There is no beach service for drinks, even down at the Sun Club section where we were. I didn't feel like many of the staff enjoyed their jobs, it's likely because they were so understaffed and overworked. The food is decent, nothing amazing, but my crew was satisfied. The pools were dirty- one was so murky you couldn't see the bottom while we were there. The best thing we did was rent a car so we could enjoy some beach time during the morning and then go off resort after lunch. Best part of the resort is the snorkeling- It's really great right off the beach. Bring your own gear!
