Central Coast California Kid friendly Vacations

The room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the beach. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

PROS: + Location (It is ON THE BEACH with its on walkway.) + Views (Beach, sunset, and the general resort set up) + Layout (Everything was easy to get to, including elevators from the color coded parking lot that correlates to the area of the hotel.) + Parking (Valet OR underground parking.) + Spaciousness. (Never felt like people were in my space, even when in the pool or the spa... where A LOT of people fit.) + Their *intention* of amenities. + The food that we *did* eat was delicious (at Sugar Beats, Ox & Ocean, and even Dive) CONS: - The hours were inaccurately posted/provided (Dive stopped food at 6 pm, despite being told 6:30 by the front desk and it being posted as 7pm; they opened at 11 am for drinks, but 11:30 for food. Sugar Beats closed at 10:15 am, despite 10:30 being posted.) This led to a lot of shifts in our dining plans. - The restaurants had a lot of unavailable items on their menu. (They were out of most of the cans at Dive; Sugar Beats didn't have the donuts or chai tea; and, while most understandable because it was the special, they were out of the prime rib by 8ish pm.) It could have helped if they noted that before someone places their order instead of after though. - Staff did not seem to be too bothered by the lack of inconsistencies. SUMMARY: We were there on Labor Day weekend, so you could assume it was going to be packed given the location AND you'd also assume they'd have planned accordingly. There were a lot of missed opportunities sadly.

Third time we have stayed here. We think it really is lovely and meets our needs. The pool area is very nice.
