Disappointing… The staff was great but the hotel’s amenities and marketing could do with an improvement. First, the spa advertised in the photos is not included in the reservation, and comes at a fee of 20€ per person. There is a free pool and jacuzzi, but those are shared with another fitness centre, so much for relaxation. Secondly, the disposable slippers are free to wear during the stay, but you’ll need to pay to bring them home. I’ve stayed in 3/4 stars hotels that don’t charge. Finally, the rooms are good, but not necessarily 5 stars worthy. Overall, the hotel is good, the staff were really helpful and nice, but it’s not a 5 star hotel, it’s a 4 star.

This was the best hotel and staff that we have experienced in Portugal this year. The staff made the stay amazing, the service was 5 star. The rooms were big, clean and lovely. Comfy beds and a nice shower and bathroom. We stayed multiple nights and even went back again on our way to another adventure. The food was wonderful and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. The selections were amazing and lots of fresh fruit. The bar was nice and quiet, watched lots of soccer and had amazing food there as well. My son says the best Caesar salad he’s ever had and the Angus burger is a must. Wonderful service and hospitality.
