The property is for weddings and not for individual travelers like us. Lacks proper breakfast room and other amenities. Also landscaping really poor.

Overall it was a great stay! Best part of the cottage was the bathroom with its deep big tub and walk in shower. But the room itself lacked visual appeal & some conveniences usually associated with booking a cottage which is more private and removed from the house. Could use more and better art in the room. I would also trade all the storage space for a mini fridge, tea kettle or coffee maker. Also the only full-size mirror is hidden far back in the bathroom which isn’t terrible but very inconvenient to check the outfit before heading out the door. It’s little odd things that just made it not feel like a luxury stay. And no one mentioned to us beforehand that the sauna, gym, pool area (even though in off season) was under renovation and not available to use. The restaurant was amazing though, room service was wonderful. And staff were adorable. But I don’t know if we would book again tbh.

Beautiful! Relaxing vacation! A bit pricey, to be expected. Barbecue ($85) was beautifully set up. Menu was disappointing. Past reviews cited appetizers like lobster rolls and fritto misto. These were absent. $4 for a small lemonade which was mostly ice, REALLY!

We always enjoy staying at the Garden City Hotel and have been returning twice a year—every summer and winter—for many years. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly makes our stay special is the incredible staff. Everyone is warm, professional, and welcoming. The housekeeping team does a wonderful job, and the valet staff are always friendly, helpful, and attentive. They consistently make us feel at home, and we truly appreciate their hard work. The only disappointment during this stay was our family dinner at King’s Restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not meet the high standards we have come to expect from the hotel. The dishes lacked the level of preparation and excellence that such a wonderful property deserves. We hope management will address this, as improving the restaurant experience would make the hotel truly exceptional. Overall, we love staying here and look forward to returning again soon.

We normally stay at another nearby hotel, but the Hyatt offered a competitive price and we were very pleased with the hotel, staff and our room. In the future, I will be booking the Hyatt should room pricing remain competitive
