Step off the street hustle & bustle into quiet serenity. Very friendly staff who make you feel personally welcome to be there. Clean and well maintained & excellent location. Breakfast on the roof is an unexpected treat for the view of the city. Un-rushed atmosphere in the spa & a relaxing and warm pool to unwind in after a massage.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. The location, in the heart of the Old Quarter, is perfect for its proximity to L1ke kiem, interesting shops, the Water Puppet Theater and great restaurants. The hotel restaurant is wonderful with a fabulous buffet breakfast and superior service-Rosalie was so helpful and also had great suggestions for activities in Hanoii. Also, the rooftop bar has a nice view and extensive cocktail list. The hotel service was simply excellent. We had to catch a bus several blocks away after we checked out, and James was exceptionally helpful in making sure we got to the right pick up point, getting our bags there and confirming the pick up details with the driver. We highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. I booked this hotel as an emergency stay as I forgot to book a place to stay and recharge for a few hours before my next flight and I’m so glad I chose to stay with them because hot damn this hotel was absolutely SPACIOUS than most hotels I chose to stay at here in Vietnam! It’s an absolute CRIME I didn’t get the chance to dip into the pool but just being able to see it up there was straight beautiful! Especially captivating at night! Don’t get me started on the in-house restaurant they have, I felt like I didn’t deserve to be there the way it was so fancy! I can’t remember what I had ordered for my main course but it’s was DELICIOUS especially their Mousse cake. So beautiful and tasteful! The next time I visit Vietnam, God Himself knows that I WILL be back here as one of the main places to stay at. God bless the staff for being so helpful to me since the second I had booked my stay! And when I arrived with my luggage, they made me feel more important than the President throughout my stay! They helped me break my large bills, directed me to a great place to exchange my currency and practically rolled out the red carpet for me! It straight up felt like there was nothing they couldn’t do for me. THEY ARE WORTH THE MONEY! STAY HERE!!!

Ther main thing about staying in this property is how professional the staff were. They must train them well, and they have a great attitude. I can't mention all of the things they did - but they helped me set up the Grab app on my phone and link it to my account; and when I checked out early to catch transport to Sapa, they made me a packed breakfast on their own initiative. They really made it easy for me with everything about being in a new city.

The service was impeccable with friendly staff especially Cenlina. Room was very clean with a good view of Hang Bong Street. Ha Long Bay tour was organised with easy and at a good price. Will definitely be coming back.

Very neat and clean with amazing staff. Very centrally located and with a great breakfast selection that was included with the stay. Cant get enough of their hospitality.

The staff, breakfast and the outdoor pool was great! However, location is perfect. Love it!!

I can highly recommend this hotel for staying in Hanoi. Tay Ho is the perfect neighborhood for a first time visit. Lots to do and eat. All within walking distance. Everything else is a short Grab ride away (depending on traffic). You're right by Westlake, which is scenic and helps to moderate the heat a bit. The morning buffet was always fresh and plentiful. The spa is clean and affordable. The staff are all professional and attentive. I can't recommend this highly enough. ENJOY!

Loved staying at The Five for 8 nights with my family. The staff were kind and helpfull, the rooms were clean, were happy with everything.
