West Island Cheap Vacations

Everything about the stay was good. The checkin, accessibility, bedrooms, laundry etc. the only problem was not being able to contact a host. There was never anyone in the office when I checked. I tried phoning but only got an answering machine which was in French which unfortunately, I don’t speak. I’d left a couple messages in the online chat that were never answered. I’m assume that Expedia was responsible for that but I’m not sure. There was a young gentleman that stopped in to see how we were doing near the end of our stay who was quite nice and was able to answer some questions but it would have been nice to be able to talk to someone earlier. I would still rent this home again as overall it was a perfect spot for us to be and was very comfortable. Thank You

The layout was very nice and it was in a very walkable area. However, the property wasn't secure. The door was left unlocked and that was a little unsettling. The place was spacious and fit me and my family very well. However, I'd read on previous ratings that the owner doesn't answer. The owner didn't answer any of my messages prior to the trip or during. I thought that was odd. For example, it would've been helpful to know what we do with the towels when leaving or if we were required to strip the beds. Also please have someone fix the door lock, it's a little loose and janky. Other than that it was a good place

Spacious rooms in a great location, well equipped kitchen and free parking.

Didn’t realize this was an apartment hotel until I checked in. But it actually was a pleasant surprise. The full kitchen, washer/dryer, and spacious space was a plus. Keep in mind there is no daily cleaning. Very central location although lots of street noise from construction and partiers on the sidewalk. HVAC thermostat did not seem to work so place was a little cool. Iron was badly leaky. But otherwise well appointed.

Great experience

Although we got timely responses to our phone calls I do appreciate having someone at the counter. I walked in to a neighbouring hotel to ask how best to call a taxi.

Tiny but clean. Good location for exploring the city (20 minute walk to Old Montreal, 15 minute walk to Centre Bell) with a grocery store and cafe/bakery within 1-2 minute walk. Would stay here again for the price.
