Beautiful hotel and great location

The stay was fine. I guess I'm just over paying for "names" when the room quality is no different, and perhaps worse, than, say, the new boutique hotel down the street. I think a lot of these old prestige name hotels are resting on their laurels and feel they don't have to update their rooms to compete (the sofa in my room was stained for example..not a huge deal but unexpected for a WA). The housekeepers must also be timed/forced to clean x number of rooms within x amount of time because the bathroom sink, shower, floors all had hair that was not mine. The WA customer service is excellent (save for when I called to have my car brought around and no one answered at the front desk OR concierge, requiring me to wait 10 minutes once at valet) but I'm not sure it's worth the cost anymore.

Gym is nice. It has a mini fridge but Room needs a microwave.

The hotel does not have parking, and you have to pay for your car per night.

Clean and tidy; the staff was very well equipped and helpful. The hotel feels 'luxurious' certainly. However the design is a bit odd throughout the lobby and main spaces - they feel a bit disjointed. The menu at the bar for dinner was interesting - too small to have good basics. Too funky really - even the cocktails were a little too odd. That would be my only complaint.

Location is not the best for women traveling alone or in women only groups. The rooms were pretty big however they were not very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly!

Spacious, functional.

We loved the larger space and the mattress was super comfortable. But the property could have been more clean. Towels were clean, sheets were clean but it was very dusty around, on baseboards, and in drawers. Plus it could seriously use fresh paint. Here’s the major drawback and why we would not recommend staying here: the property is not as secure as it seems. There are residents there but there are a lot of people coming and going. There were clearly parties and people that would ask us to use our key fob to get to the pool area or to a certain floor that either we’re not Nomad guests or Generation residents. However the real kicker for us… we found a c*ack pipe in our bathroom. On the floor next to the toilet. Clearly used by whomever. We had a hard time finding a number for the owner. Eventually they did send their maitinance man that lives there and he is super nice. But we were beyond uncomfortable the rest of our stay with the coming and going people from the building and drug parafanalia found in the bathroom. Do not recommend.
