South Myrtle Beach Cheap Vacations

It was cold so we weren’t able to use the water slide and pool but overall I have no complaints for the services we did use. The food at the restaurant was good and surprisingly affordable for a resort. The staff was friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marina Inn at Grand Dunes. Our two bedroom suite was amazing. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen and very clean appliances. Even the toaster had no bread crumbs!. We Stayed on the 5th floor which had awesome balcony views of the Marina and the Grand Dunes golf course. The staff at the Inn were cooperative, friendly, respectful and accomodatiing. We left extremely happy and will certainly be back. Thank you Marina Inn.

Our room was excellent, better than expected. Clean, up to date. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We went to the gym twice. It would have been beneficial to have a couple of disinfectant spray bottles and paper towels to wipe equipment down after use. Love the available equipment. Should alternate treadmills and elliptical for the view of the ocean.lol. Outdoor pools, hot tubs and beach access were all awesome! Wish the weather was better for our stay!

I was quite hesitant about booking the DoubleTree because of its age. However, I’m glad to say I was not disappointed. Check-in was quick and easy. You will need a credit card for incidentals, and there is a $150 hold until the room has been cleared by housekeeping. I also received a text message from Jeff, who was ready to assist if we needed anything. Our oceanfront king room with a sofa bed was clean and spacious. The only issues we had were with the door and the fridge. You had to put some “umph” into the door to make sure it was fully closed. The mini fridge was also a bit loud at times. We jiggled it a few times, and it would quiet down for a while, but eventually the noise would come back. There was plenty of parking and lots of luggage carts. If you have kids, this is a great place to stay because you have access to the Ellie and the waterpark. There is also an adults-only pool. The grounds were clean as well. The Ocean Blue restaurant has seating until 10:00, and the veggie pizza and dry-rub wings were tasty. They also offer turkey sausage for breakfast. We ordered from the menu instead of doing the buffet, though I did notice several guests enjoying the buffet. Donna was a very sweet waitress. Finally, when I thought we needed a late checkout, Susan took over the text messages and accommodated us. All in all, we would definitely stay again!

Everything was great except the valet was a little backed up. They did a good job of keeping cars moving and getting people checked in.

We had an amazing time for our anniversary! The food at the hotel was incredible and the waterfront room was so beautiful! Every member of the staff we encountered were so kind and helpful! Will definitely be visiting again!

Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We needed wash clothes though but I would stay again.
