Fantastic hotel with outstanding views. Nice walk along the boardwalk where there are restaurants etc & a shingle beach (no chairs to hire). Breakfast was lovely & staff excellent.
Food at the hotel is expensive but if you cross the road & walk through the resort next to the bus stop there are minimarkets, souvenir shops & cheaper places to eat. Walk on 5 minutes more to Copocobana beach which is pretty.
Buses to Old Town run every 10 minutes or so & dont cost much but be prepared to be squashed in!
Nice rocky hotel beach with loungers & umberellas but we didnt sit there at the end after spotting a snake! Apparently domestic, protected & harmless but if you dont like snakes it may put you off sitting there. Lovely swimming off the hotel beach but bring surf shoes as there are sea urchins.
