I did not stay at this hotel. I paid for the hotel and even bought a travel insurance policy that stated that I will get a refund in case of any cancellation. Had a medical emergency and contacted Expedia two days before check in date to cancel but Expedia said they are having issues getting to the hotel to process my refund as the hotel policy is that the booking is a non refundable one even after I bought an insurance policy from Expedia. I am still waiting for a response from Expedia

We just came back from a 4 day stay at Seven Seasons at the end of May 2024. El Alamein is an hour away from Alexandria, which wasn’t something we hadn’t fully realised until we got there. Also, it was not peak season so many things were not fully operating, like the Aqua Park. The apartment we stayed in was far away from the nearest pool so we needed to be driven there. The apartment, although nicely done up with modern facilities, was a little dusty when we got there and essential amenities listed on the website were missing, like shampoo etc. However, Dr Hassan was very helpful, he arranged a local driver, Alaa to transport us to and from the pool, get groceries, explore local area and to other parts of the marina. We did a day trip to Alexandria, which was amazing and also spent 2 days by the pool and marina (jet ski and speed boating). Language was a bit of an issue so we had to use a translator app. Dr Hassan regularly checked in with us. In the end, we actually had a great time and would highly recommend, but probably in peak season.

Outstanding experience. Words will not express enough how wonderful the stay was. The staff is always helpful. The stay was above and beyond.
