U.S. Virgin Islands Cheap Vacations

The Buccaneer was gorgeous. We appreciated all that it had to offer. Our ocean view room was stunning with a view of the ocean, beach and Christinstead. We loved the Grotto pool and The beaches,and the restaurants. The overally friendly staff were helpful.As were the drivers both at the hotel and into town. Especially Lockhart and Paul and the helpful staff like Leah at the Concierge and the waiters at the Terrace and Mermaid restaurant. On the downside it was off season which made it made it nice and quiet but also we experienced some concerns. The Grotto pool closed our first couple of days. Also, the service at the Mermaids restaurant seemed to be under staffed which made service slow. The waiters did a good job though. The terrace restaurant closed and the seating area outside the Terrace was closed off for renovations as well. Definitely on our bucket list to come back.

Beautiful,Clean room. Amenities and anything needed were provided. No The bar and staff were wonderful. Food and drinks were great! Beach was private and beautifully relaxing. Great views from the upper condos. The only thing dissatisfying was the water system to wash off your feet from sand before entering your condo was not functioning and no drinking waters were in the rooms.

Hotel was great and in the perfect area would definitely stay again just had some issues with the restaurants when we went on the first day a lady told us we were past the time to be taken for lunch (345) we were there are 345 and she said she had to ask her manager for permission. She seated us and then we proceeded to wait 45 mins mind you we were up since 3 AM traveling and got settled in around three at the hotel and we had our 14 month old son with us who we really just wanted him to eat. We ended up leaving with no one, helping us and order room service to our room and had to wait another 45 minutes for food. I would just think if you see we have a child with us. You would either let us know if you’re going to serve us or not instead of having us wait with no one saying a word to us not even giving us a glass of water. I had a similar issue the next night at that same restaurant.

Real great for solo trips. Kind staff. The room was clean. The hotel is gate and safe for solo travellers. Although I did not personally get in the pool it was well kept and clean as well. Just be prepared to share a bathroom.

They truly very helpful and welcoming def know how to treat guest!
