(172 reviews) I picked this hotel for the "close to airport', a shuttle bus service, and dining on-site.To now find out the shuttle only operates in the morning and only in the evening. I arrived in the afternoon and therefore had to book a taxi. When I asked for the shuttle in the morning, I was now told the shuttle bus took a little over 35 minutes, because the shuttle had to pick up passengers from other hotels. This is an inconvenience when you just need to get to the airport for an early flight. In conclusion, again the hotel was actually farther than advertised, which required me to order a taxi upon arrival and upon check-out.The shower was lukewarm, and after a day of travel I would have preferred a nice hot shower. The on-site restaurant was closed for a private event, which would have been helpful to know in advance, especially since there were no other nearby dining options. (1,000 reviews) The room was spacious, however really, really loud (which in itself is not the fault of the hotel, but I couldn't imagine how loud it would have been if we were on the 1st floor opposed to the 4th). There are no really amenities besides wifi. We did not eat in the restaurant or bar because there are a ton of better options within walking distance at a fraction of the price. The bed was really uncomfortable with large indents in the mattress from use. The room was ok, but not really clean as you could see built up dust, dirt, and debris in the corners and running along the wall. The amount of dust on the headboard was crazy. However, the hotel is in a great location to travel on the train, metro, catch a cab or walk. I was concerned about the room facing the concert hall but could not hear anything. Extemely close to Grand Palace. Hit the different Christmas markets there in Belgium, Bruege and visited Ghent.
