Extremely small rooms. Very difficult toconverse.Staff attempted to help with limited English skills .suggest more attempt to speak English as it is the universal aviation language and this is a tourist hotel

Awesome staff with great communication. Quiet area in Kyoto and about 11 min walk to the station. Kitchen and washer/dryer were convenient and easy to use. Shower was also great with good water pressure.

Unique property, that’s what I liked the most. It was on a very quiet street that felt more local than other hotels. We traveled in a group and each one of us had a very different style of room all done by different designers and architects our room was suited perfectly for us it was done in soothing colours, decor and layout. Our room exactly what we wanted to come back to after long days in Kyoto. We opted for the breakfast at the hotel, it was absolutely delicious. They had the option of western or Japanese style we tried both. Either option was delicious and the presentation was beautiful the staff were so attentive. The front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful. It was such a wonderful experience.

Wonderful hotel, staff and experience. Relaxing, well located, and amazing property to reset and recharge.

Everything was wonderful. But the exception of I could hear every sound in my room. Isn’t that what we’re trying to look for in a hotel room? A decent night sleep? That’s the only reason I could give it such a poor star rating.
