Left of Rhine Adventure Vacations

The hotel is located in a quiet side-street in Cologne, seemingly well away from any shops, bars, restaurants. The largest drawback however was that the hotel only served breakfast, had no lounge or bar area to chill & relax, & so could really only be used for sleeping & breakfast. However, we soon located a very good - reasonably expensive - steakhouse near bye, & a collection of resturarnts about 15 minutes easy stroll away. I was attending a trade fair at the Cologne Messe, which was around 10mins away by cab, circa £16 each way. My wife used the time I was away at the show to walk along the Rhine, into Cologne centre, easy 25mins walk to the Cathedral. Nice hotel, but would not use again because of the dining/bar situation.

Clean room, friendly staff, nice new interior.

The hotel was nice, staff was helpful and the breakfast was amazing. I did feel as though the room was too warm even with the AC on and I wish there was a microwave and ice machine available to guests. I will say that I'm from the US so maybe this is the norm for hotels overseas. I want to mention that although there was not a microwave in my room, the staff was willing to pop the bag of popcorn for me. I was very appreciative for that. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again if possible.

Great location close to everything we needed, with very helpful and welcoming staff. The on-site parking was a big plus and made getting around very convenient.

Superbe hôtel. Excellent petit déjeuner. Personnel poli et serviable. Situé à distance de marche des transports, restos et petits club. Près du Rhin et à 5 minutes de marches du quartier des boutiques. Les oreillers et le lit sont super confortables. Belles chambres. Définitivement à conseiller. Nous y retournerons.
