I’ve stayed here many times previously. Great location but the hotel is looking a little run down Front desk staff seems short handed. Lots of waiting around Restaurant remains quite nice

We had a beautiful corner room, loved the furnishings and lovely marble bathroom. The staff was amazing and they were a trip highlight. We parked off site in a parking garage that was less than a block away, the price was about $37 a day. Great location near Union Square. This is an old building with unique charm and stylish renovations. The hotel was doing some elevator renovations, so only one in use, not a problem for us during our week day travels. The windows need some washing, but other than that no complaints, would absolutely stay here again.

The room is big and comfortable. When I had breakfast, the attendant was very nice ,he recommended a type of juice which was very delicious.

Very beautiful hotel in very nice location, close to everything.

If you are visiting your child at Cal, staying at the Claremont is a no-brainer if you are looking for a bit (or a lot) more than a typical hotel stay.

Great location, their lounge the view is amazing! Room is spacious, only downside is no mini bar or room service.
