The hotel carpets were water‑stained and grim, the air‑conditioning was dead on arrival, and the “solution” offered was a fan so weak it couldn’t cool a hamster. The curtains didn’t close, so I spent the entire night lit up like a shop window. Yes, the location is great, Sainsbury’s next door, but the mythical “free parking” might as well be listed under folklore. Unicorns are more common. Communication was a shambles from start to finish, and the manager and staff seemed genuinely unaware of their own policies. Basic queries vanish into the void, and responses, when they finally appear are slow, vague, and unhelpful after the event! The contrast with the Adagio Stratford is brutal. Stratford runs circles around this place on every single count!

The positives-,good situation( we were visiting for an event at Hampton Court Oalace) Air conditioned rooms- heatwave in London The negatives- room facilities were poor- no in room fridge Only one pillow each on the bed with no extras in the wardrobe Toiletries in the bathroom were empty including shower gel - despite asking that they be refilled during the day, they remained empty. Quite poor

A clean well kept hotel. The only issue was with the wifi which dropped out every 10 minutes.

The location for us was great as we were visiting Wimbledon - only 4 stops, facilities and hotel as you would expect, had to call reception once and the duty manager was very helpful
