4 year old had fun playing on the sand, making s’mores in the rooms fire pit, renting bikes in front of resort. The pool isn’t big but it wasn’t overly crowded. Definitely a family friendly place to stay.

I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean. The set up.of the shower is very inconvenient. It was a last minute stay. I was expecting it to be more since it's a resort. I wouldn't stay there again.

Pros: The staff was great, rooms were clean, decor was nice, a/c worked. Cons: the elevator and room was super small. Like abnormally small. Made me a little claustrophobic when I was in the elevator. The valet parking was expensive (50 dollars) especially when you are expected to tip- and you should). There was a weird hidden fee of 24 dollars so the 75 dollar deposit went out the door. Started out affordable but got too expensive too quick especially for what it is.

The historical appearance of the hotel was very interesting and beautiful. However, that did not translate into the service that was provided as there was no morning option for coffee or tea. A morning cup available on property would improve 1 concern. Additionally, some loud sounds were prevalent the entire night. Sounds of a running toilet happened all night. Add some mechanical continuous low thumping noise was tough to ignore. I’ll be looking for options on my next visit.
