Wonderful stay at Hotel Monsieur Jean… And a special shout out to the concierge,,, So helpful!

Our stay started with us going into our room and another family was still in there! They had already cleaned the room so. As to come back and reclean as the beds were a mess!! The WiFi lost connection non stop. We couldn’t use the cable or apps. The apps had someone else’s info and we couldn’t sign out of it….would’ve been fine except it was in French which we do not speak fluently. We requested help several times….it did not work the entire stay. The WiFi is awful. Bedrooms do not have tv’s which just should be noted somewhere. Two of the bedrooms do not have windows…also should be noted also. No bureaus in any bedroom just the entry closet. The shower is a bit confusing but the lack of water pressure was worse. Positives: the location is very nice. The view from the living room is pretty. The staff when I called about anything was responsive and polite. I have to say there are so many lodging options and the exceptional ratings our hotel was given I expected more…simply making sure WiFi works would be a huge plus. Not that we spent tons of time in the room but when we had down time we couldn’t have watched tv/apps if we wanted to.

A delightful stay in this lovely property. The view from the room and terrace were great. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful with lots of suggestions. My wife's dietary requirements were catered for very well. Breakfast was good and cooked fresh. there was plenty of parking and the property is very convenient for Old Quebec and the Montmorency Falls.
