Notre-Dame Island Adults Only Vacations

Don't expect any communication with the staff. The front desk wasn't staffed during any of the five days we stayed at any time. Messages via the Expedia app were ignored. Daily room service is not available. The hotel does not have a coffee shop/cafe, dry cleaning/laundry services, Concierge services nor a restaurant as advertised. Website says the checkin time is 3PM; however a same day email note says 4PM. The washer and dryer were both broken and unusable. The shower faucet handle fell off multiple times. The bathroom fan was broken. The location in the neighborhood was excellent.

Since we know the city, we chose the hotel for its location and that worked perfectly well since the central location allowed convenient access to the best that Montreal offers for a visitor who likes to experience the heart of the city and its attractions and services. The 2 bedroom unit was well equipped and stuffed with all necessary items for comfortable living. Staff were kind and helpful. It was impressive that we reported an air-conditioning problem and a technician attended to the issue and resolved it promptly. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and the Monroe Hotel is highly recommended.

We loved loved loved this property. It was so unique. The decor was fascinating. Art literally everywhere. It was super clean. Our bed had the crispest cleanest and best smelling sheets we’ve ever slept in. Such a joy. It’s the little things. The staff were all amazing.Tomas was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was croissants & coffee or OJ would have been nice to have maybe fruit & yogurt as well. But not complaining. We enjoyed Old Montreal. Location is good. We wanted to be near Notre Dame Basilica, it was perfect. Highly recommend this unique and beautiful hotel.

The Mercer is beautiful and in a great location between old Montreal and Downtown. A few items that could have improved our stay include more hand, face and kitchen towels. We only had one face cloth for 4 people and 4 bathtowels. We also had no bedding for our pull out sofa but we managed to track down bedding in the central cabinets on the floors. Overall, our stay was wonderful and staff at the front were very kind.

We went for a Canadiens game and it was the perfect walking distance location! The gold floor goodies were perfect.
