The hotel staff was amazing with accommodations for any of our needs. There was a waiter that was absolutely amazing… He went beyond any expectations!

Been to this resort every year for years. We usually don’t eat on property except for Signature (amazing) and pool side. This time we decided to stay on property and to be honest not impressed at all. We skipped big breakfast and ate at Henrietta’s not good at all!! Lunch time we ate at Spitfire and had a sandwich. Service was very slow. The sandwich was good except for all the oil saturated on the bread. Dinner we ate Mexican, not impressed at all. I truly feel for the top notch hotel i feel it is the food should be also

It was within walking distance of the riverwalk and the Majestic and other good cafes and restuarants

Very clean hotel. The rooms were minimalistic and basic if you ask me. But the bed was really comfortable. I didn't want to get up in the mornings. For the price $300/night I was expecting way better. Everything was very basic as far as amenities. There wasn't even a hot tub. The pool is 10th floor and a but small. It's heated but still too cold for early afternoon. Perks- they have free tea and coffee service in the morning. They have free wine service around 5pm. I stayed at 3 different hotels on this trip and this was the farthest from the river walk. At least 8 minutes walk which doesn’t seem like a lot but i stayed at two other hotel one right on the riverwalk and one minute away. I felt the difference. A bit more hassel to walk back and forth. Out for the morning then back to the hotel for a 3pm nap. Then back out for the evening 6pm. On some of those late nights out that walk seemed entirely too long. Especially since it's 8 minutes from one particular part of the riverwalk. For things like La panderia (famous bakery and eatery) it's more like 14 minutes. Thats the average walking distance from of the places we frequented. I much rather pay that price and be on the riverwalk. But it was a nice hotel.

we were very disappointed in the grab and go breakfast offerings through Moon’s daughter. We ordered a bacon and egg taco…the unseasoned eggs and greasy bacon were served on pita bread. The container it was served in was full of grease. There was some unknown food item that looked like tofu. In San Antonio, you can’t call something a breakfast taco and serve what we got. Gross

I loved the amenities of the room.

Nightclub area; noisy at night at times; no close shopping; highway driving across town. Initial instructions were confusing but host was great. Pool and gym access; good for active people.
