Overall a very nice hotel in a convenient location. Didn't feel "luxury" to me per see, but it was nice. Very clean. The service was attentive and friendly. My only big complaint is a weird one - they had sliding bathroom doors in our room with no locks and at many points they would spontaneously ope while someone was using the toilet, making for an unnecessarily awkward experience. They should change those doors.

Yes, it's pricey but consider the city and location. But you do get some value, which I did not consider: (1) free valet parking, (2) $80.00 breakfast voucher--breakfast was well above average, and (3) some drink vouchers--we forgot to use. We got upgraded, which was nice. Room was large and view was impressive. Staff was excellent. We would stay here again.

Love this hotel. It's our go to place in Vancouver. Rooms are nice and modern. We have a few repairs needed with the batroom door. They have a large tub in the suites but no real hotwater to enjoy it. The water was lukewarm each time we stay there. If you're offerings a tub like that , please let us take a warm bath. The staff are extremely friendly... except for one lady at the front desk. The concierge is extremely helpful and your goto guy for activities, or restaurants. Overall I love this place, but that lukewarm water is becoming a deal breaker for us to return.

Property was welcoming and staff were all great. Good location for games at arenas.

By far the best full service hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time !

Stayed at the Fairmont Gold in Whistler recently. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, but unfortunately the overall Gold experience did not live up to expectations. The service felt below the standard I would expect from Fairmont Gold. While there is a lounge/buffet for Gold guests, it is quite limited and consists mostly of light snacks rather than a meaningful breakfast or food offering. I would not recommend counting on it as part of the value of the stay. Overall, while the accommodations were good, I personally did not find the Fairmont Gold upgrade worth the additional cost.
