Good condition hotel but on main road long walk onto but golf course was an added bonus will be back though

Second time I've stayed there. 7 rooms, a bit quirky in the layout - this one had a separate powder room just after you entered room and the shower/sink were far side of the room. Room was clean, air conditioning worked great. This room was adjacent to the restaurant's terrace, so not the greatest for privacy, but no noticeable noise. Fine for one night, but might have preferred a different room if I had been staying for a longer period. Location of the hotel is great! Right on the water. Large surfing beach is around point to the left, and downtown around point to the right.

We booked a night at this hotel spontaneously, and were absolutely delighted by the quality of the sleep. The bed was soft and luxurious and our room overlooked the beautiful beach. The windows had external shutters which enabled us to achieve blackout. The aircon worked well too, a blessing in July. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but went to a nice cafe just over the road and along. There is a supermarket around the corner about 5 minutes away on foot. Booked on the last minute with little choice, it was an expensive stay but we were extremely pleased with the level of comfort and seaside location of the hotel.

2 night stay woke each day with multiple bites on every family member. No visible mosquitos so hoping not bed bugs???? UNCONFIRMED? Was clean enough but property needs maintenance - Cracks in sink, no holder for shower so have to hold above head, bathroom door hard to close as gets trapped by bed. Extremely basic room but big enough for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable, air con works but no coffee making facilities, no iron and had to complain as room above had children running around till 1am (but i guess this could happen anywhere)? Breakfast is basic and we decided against it after comparing the price to the produce. Parking was also HARD WORK as we had a roof box on top of our zafira. IF YOU HAVE A LARGE VEHICLE? DO NOT listen to staff re parking at the train station, this damaged our car and roofbox as well as being extremely stressful!! Parking over the bridge is fab in open air car park (Boufflers) - ignore first entrance on left (this is for members) go right to end and you can grab a ticket and park, pay easily on exit :) - it was cheaper than train station too (pay €18.20 for just under two days)! Location is a little rough, lots of tramps and young gangs around but felt safe enough as a family of 4. Over the bridge is much nicer and we recommend VictorHugo for dinner! On the positive the Location was fab for bus links to Biarritz but was extremely loud at night. Must keep windows closed. Ok for a one night stay but would not recommend for longer.
