The hotel is above the train station and a big metro station, so it very convenient to get everywhere via the Metro. You might expect it to be noisy because of this, but the rooms are well insulated so noise is very low. Staff were great. Property was clean. No pool😭. One tip, get your taxi driver to take you up the ramp to the entrance don’t get dropped off at the station, as then you have to find the elevator or walk up the long ramp. Nice air conditioning. Free bottles of water every day. It also has a fun space theme.

Great centrally located apartment to many of the main sites. Clean apartment and true to the pictures! Well air conditioned apartment.

It was a great location for visiting anything in the Gothic Quarter or to shop and sit outside and eat. Centrally located and easy to get anywhere. We had good communication with the owners and the apartment was very clean. We loved sitting out on the small balcony and watching all the people

Nice clean apartment with a balcony and annuities. Very good area near las Ramblas and restaurants, near the beach, very accessible to many of Barcelone’s famous sites. Unfortunately, we saw cucarachas in the lobby at night, they did dispose of them. Garbage and recycling bins are just outside the main door, that’s a big issue

Generally we enjoyed our stay however there were a few issues as I outline below. I hope my comments are useful for both future guests of the hotel so that they can improve and also future guests. 1) We booked the Audi with the Red Level - this was excellent 2) Not all of the pools as photo'd on expedia are available to hotel guests. One can be used by hotel guests adults and kids. The other 2 'adults only' pools is owned by another company and only available for free for Red Level hotel guests. We were but we have to reserve a seat / lounger in advance. We found the staff very unhelpful and rude at this adult pool. My wife arrived and said she was Red Level at the hotel, the lady said 'really?' and rolled her eyes and then another lady rolled her eyes. My wife was nicely dressed and was very taken back by the rudeness. Then they said 'we shall call the hotel to check' and then after 5 minutes let her in. I also had a bad experience at this particular pool. A similar scenario and they said they were fully booked but 90% of seats were empty. Another experience where a drink took 45 minutes to arrive. Its a pool where people turning up to use it is seems to be a real inconvenience to the staff working there and they would prefer to keep seats empty at busier times in order to earn more money from paid guests (not hotel users) and they really dont respect hotel guests. Avoid this place!! Eric on concierge at the hotel was excellent!

Due to unexpected circumstances, I had to contact the hotel to cancel the reservation or get a hotel credit for the future. They were not customer oriented at all and didn’t give me anything back

Terrific location, great roof top views, we were at a walking distance from most of the main attractions we wanted to see. The concierge helped us out with ground transportation which was greatly appreciated Great time

I want others to be very aware of our situation and go in with open eyes so they are not caught off guard and know exact details of what they will experience at this hotel: 1. The hotel is average overall. It is okay for a night stay before going to the airport and has a great shuttle service. I would not recommend staying more than one night. 2. If you have kids, especially between 12 and 15, be aware that anyone 12 years and over will be charged extra like an adult (passports for all will be asked for) and that if they are not yet 16 they cannot sleep in a room without an adult. Our two families (group of 10) had booked 3 rooms with two double beds each and they made us "upgrade" 2 of the 3 rooms for 44 euro each to a 3-person room, which meant a single bed and a king bed in each room rather than two double beds. The dads slept with the pre-teens and teenagers in 2/3 rooms and the moms with the younger girls in the room with two double beds. Not great, would have preferred the teens sleep together in their own room but those were the cited rules, and it was either that or buying a 4th room which didn't make any sense. Silly rules you should be aware of. 3. The pool was also average, there were no towels available when we went (until much later when they finally brought new ones) and they did cheap out with loungers/seating (very few available and all taken), requiring our group to sit/lay on our own towels. 4. I recommend staying here only if you have low expectations

Elena, our front desk receptionist was attentive, kind and professional
