Manitoulin Island Cheap Vacations

Check-in was a nightmare. Guests can either use a self-service kiosk or wait in an extremely long line at the front desk. We chose the kiosk, only to go in circles trying to complete the process. After several failed attempts, we learned the kiosk couldn't print our room key because it had run out of keys. To make matters worse, only half of the elevators appeared to be working. We waited a long time to squeeze into an overcrowded elevator just to reach the 20th floor. From the time we arrived until we finally got into our room, nearly 45 minutes had passed. It was an incredibly frustrating way to start our vacation. When I called to complain, I was connected to a virtual agent who simply told me to go to the front desk if I wanted assistance. That response only added to the frustration. The room itself was the bright spot of our stay. It was spacious, updated, and well maintained. The housekeeping staff also did an excellent job, and I have no complaints about the accommodations. Unfortunately, the casino was filled with cigarette smoke and the constant noise of gaming machines, which made it difficult to enjoy spending time there. The bartenders were friendly and provided great service. Overall, while the room was nice and the staff we interacted with were pleasant, the chaotic check-in process, elevator issues, and casino environment left a very negative impression. We will not be returning.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

The room had a lot of plumbing issues. We had a lot of issues the door reader. The toilet paper holder was broken and fell to the floor all the time that’s not sanitary. when complain to the front, they told us that we needed to get a hold of our own housekeeping for that room, but we’re on vacation so we don’t have time to be looking for maintenance.
