This hotel is wonderful. The staff is always very polite and helpful. It is located in the historic district so it’s very busy. But it’s a great place to get out in the evening for a stroll and enjoy the sounds of Mexico City.

Great place to stay. Clean, safe and the coffee shop is great plus when you have kids or want a late snack and the breakfast at Balcón Del Zocalo was superb.

Nice staff, good area (if you need to be in that area, which is safe but dull) and decent accommodations. Clean rooms.
Cons: the area is very noisy due to the elevated highway. Rooms are noisy, rooftop pool is noisy- the traffic never stops in that city. I left a five day stay after two days due to lack of sleep. The balconies face one another so you’re staring right into your neighbors room a few feet away. It’s fine, for a business stay but not a great choice for experiencing Mexico City or a real vacation.

We stayed at hotel Geneve for six nights. We loved the historic lobby and old world charm of the hotel. The breakfast was great with good service.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. All the staff during our stay were attentive and helpful.
The hotel is central to most popular sites and very convenient. The bar/lounge serves great drinks and has live music. We had a lovely stay.
