Kelleys Island State Park Honeymoon Vacations

Stayed for 1 night for the Tate McRae concert and was overall satisfied. Was maybe a 10-15 minute walk to Rocket Mortgage Arena. Our room had a nice view of Lake Erie and Huntington Bank Stadium. Check in process was easy, but the only downside we arrived around 2:30 and I was told that we could check in early when I called prior to arriving. We get there and they had no rooms available so we couldn’t check in until a little after 4PM. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Great property, very clean, safe. Front desk was nice, Valet was great/ $25 a night, The suite was amazing; 2 double beds in one room, living room/kitchen in the other room, tub and toilet in a separate from sink which makes it easy for everyone to get ready. We went to a concert at the Huntington Bank Field and booked here because the bus is pretty much a straight path there. However, be careful because the bus ride is much longer than we thought, it makes about 15 stops and we waited a while for it to even come. It’s only $5 for the day but we did Uber at one point because we didn’t want to be late. If you aren’t on a time crunch then this hotel is great for fairly close proximity to downtown.

Not a fan of the non existent parking….as there was not any. If there is an event going on when you check in pay for the valet, definitely worth it rather than the hassle of finding parking. Something I wish I’d knew prior to arrival.

The hotel staff were great especially the manager Cloyd ! He went out of his way to welcome us and help us in several ways. This guy deserves a raise and a promotion! I hear he even has a long commute to the hotel, showing dedication and commitment!

Cleveland is working hard to sustain its revival, and the Fidelity is a good example of what the city can be. Located in a side street running between the old Cleveland News-Herald building and Euclid Avenue it’s an easy walk to many of the city’s best known places, but it still feels like the retail shops that power a vibrant city center haven’t recovered enough to make the area fun and safe. The Fidelity, however, does feel fun and safe: staff give you genuine welcoming smiles and are looking for ways to be helpful. The rooms are small, but comfortable with thoughtful touches like clothes steamers and pour-over kettles. The restaurant has a mercifully short menu of tasty food all available as room service. In the morning we had breakfast just outside the official seating area, which meant we could have our dog with us without breaking any rules.
