: Beyond Expectations – An Unforgettable Stay Our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole was truly beyond expectations. The hotel is clean, stylish, and very well maintained. The staff were professional, polite, and genuinely friendly – always ready to help with a smile. The pool, gym, breakfast, bar, and restaurant were all excellent, with top-quality service and attention to detail. Everything was perfectly organized and made us feel so well taken care of. Most importantly, a huge thank you to Nick for his exceptional professionalism and kindness. Together with the wonderful Hilton team, he turned our stay into an unforgettable memory. The hotel was tired and just ‘ok’. I’ve stayed in Macdonald hotels and they’re been great hence booking a new one to try. To be honest I’ve stayed in better budget hotels. The bathroom has grout missing and quite mouldy and not well maintained tiles etc. The restaurant only served DIY instant decaf sachet coffee which is so poor. Not much choice for vegans and the staff were not helpful when I asked. I wouldn’t return here, overall very disappointed as this was meant to be a celebration for both my sons graduating. Leisure facilities were ok but when I went back to get changed not a lot of room as multiple spa parties in the changing area. Had to wait.

Was a little underwhelmed to be honest. Its not as close to the pier as you'd think. Everything seemed a very long walk away. Prices are a bit steep for things and room service is not 24 hours.

Very unique! Great hotel, great room, lovely staff, fab breakfast and amazing cocktails. Would definitely come back here.

Great hotel,location and facilities. Only negative bit of feedback is they charge for bottled water in the rooms (unless you are a silver member or above) and there is no hydration station in the gym, so no access to water, which I was shocked at. I’ve never used a gym where there is no water station before.
