We stayed at LHotel Montreal for two nights with my brother and soon-to-be sister-in-law just before their wedding, and it was absolutely spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and genuine friendliness that made us feel so welcome. The service throughout was flawless—helpful, professional, and delivered with such charm.
The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Old Montreal, steps from great restaurants, shops, and the historic waterfront. It felt like the perfect base to soak in the city.
The rooms themselves were not only comfortable but wonderfully unique—each space had character and flair that made it feel memorable rather than just another hotel. What truly surprised us was the art collection—everywhere you turned, there were unexpected treasures, from contemporary pieces to bold statement art. It felt more like staying in a private gallery than a hotel!
On top of all that, it was incredible value for money. For the level of service, location, and experience, it exceeded all expectations. We’d return in a heartbeat and can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Montreal.

The controls for the lights, the shades and the toilet, were unnecessarily complicated and nobody walked us through how to manage it. The ambience of the lobby and the rooms was not great, but the attached mansion was gorgeous. However, drinks were extraordinarily expensive at the bar and they should have offered a discount to people staying at the hotel, in my opinion.
