Really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The staff was really friendly. Each single of them had a smile and was happy to help. I find very unfair people who complain about the staff not speaking english (they speak french as most of the tourists are french). Food was good, nothing out of the ordinary but we were looking forward to lunch and dinner time every day. Fully recommend having a massage! Fair prices and very relaxing. A few bits that can be improved: internet (good for scrolling but not reliable if you need to have a videocall), few areas are showing its age (some window frames, carpets...). Be aware! There is not english breakfast so if you want to feel like "home" probably just stay there.

excellent elegant hotel in a fantastic location overlooking city and sea. Fantastic clean rooms and staff service, minutes walk from the main town centre with spectacular views over the marina just near by. I highly recommend it. Take a room with a balcony and marvel at the sea view surrounded by lush trees. Great breakfast too brough to your room. I would definitely go back again. I felt somewhat regal

Dar Said is our go-to stay when visiting Sidi Bou Said. The garden and pool area are very relaxing, beautiful spaces. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread is lovely. The cleaning staff does a wonderful job and even created fresh Jasmine bouquets in our room from the tree in the courtyard which is a lovely touch. We highly recommend staying there and look forward to our return.

Getting to this accommodation for the first time is confusing, so I’d suggest doing some pre work as cars cannot physically drop you off in front of this hotel. Architecturally the building is stunning, however, the amenities in the room is very outdated. Our minibar fridge was not working, bottled water was not provided and the breakfast area was not very clear. Housekeeping could’ve done a better job as we had 2 travellers, over only one set of robes and slippers were provided. The pillows in our room had pilling and hair that was not ours. There is potential for this hotel to be so much better and hope that management improves the customer experience
