We stayed at the Beachcomber the last time we came to visit Oahu and we decided to try the Paradise to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The location was great. It’s located near good eats and a short walk to Waikiki beach. The hotel is located the next street after Kalakaua, so it’s not loud. The hotel was so beautiful and renovated so nicely. My room was very clean and modern, but a bit small. It was perfect for my husband and I. Room service was great. Always came back to the room looking immaculate and stocked up. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back and stay again and highly recommend it to others.

Everything about the hotel was amazing; the staff, the room, the view, the vibes, the aesthetics, the location and the price. This was not my first time at Queen Kapiolani and it will not be my last!

Absolutely would recommend 10/10. Convenience and customer service is exceptional. Easy communication via text and hotel location is prime walkable to everything.

The hotel is in a great location and while nothing terrible happened, don’t expect a 4 or 5 star resort as this is not it. The hotel and amenities are dated, there is no room service and basic requests were unable to accommodate ( eg quoted a charge of $50 to have a microwave to sterilize my infants bottles, could not arrange surf rental on our behalf). Overall, the staff we encountered were friendly but frankly it just didn’t seem ‘worth it’. We liked the little bakery in the morning for a muffin and a coffee but otherwise ventured off site for meals. The pool is small and the lounge chairs limited and uncomfortable (thing 90s banded loungers). Food by the pool was good. Spent most of our time eating at the Moana Surf Rider which was actually cheaper than the Royal Hawaiian and overall a better hotel in my opinion.

Great location just steps from Waikiki Beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice views. Staff is friendly and helpful, and breakfast is good. Perfect mix of convenience and value in the heart of Waikiki. Mahalo

The Waikīkī tower at the Ala Moana Hotel is undergoing renovation. This Luana Vacation rental has recently been refreshed. Bright colors and updated furniture really have improved this property. Good value for the money
