The location of the hotel was very crntrak and within easy walking distance of everything in town. The views from the rooms and outside terrace area are spectacular. If you love skiing, mountain biking or hiking, this location has it all.

Nice hotel, but lacking on the 5* experience side of things. Older style hotel with well maintained rooms, but the tub/shower setup is terribly cramped and dangerous for showering in. Nice rustic, chic rooms without AC. This is only a concern during the day during heat waves, but still should be noted. I would recommend this hotel to elderly folks who are into old school hotel setups, but not for the younger, sophisticated traveler. The hotel location is also at one side of town, and is a 20min walk into town for dining and shopping.

A wonderful night in Geneva, we only stayed here for one night, but it was a great hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely with a bath/shower and a comfortable bed.

We loved our time at Les Loges Annecy. Perfect location. Incredible room. Peter & Sylvie were charming hosts, welcoming, knowledgable and lots of amusing tales.

Excellent hôtel. Very clean, excellent amenities, spa, pool and fitness. Excellent breakfast. Very nice staff.

Very expensive hotel for a basic room with an incredible view. Was peak season when visited however

We stayed Grand Hotel du Lac in May and enjoyed the best of Swiss hospitality. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The breakfast staff were wonderful, taking the time to describe the artisan breads and ensuring there was always a fresh platter of fruit available. The waiters and sommelier took their time to take us on a culinary menu exploration to help with our choice. The valet remembered our names, which made our stay feel even more personal and the reception staff were most welcoming. The chambermaids were excellent, providing a lovely evening turndown service that added a touch of luxury each day and making sure we have our chocolates. The hotel is a very special and charming place, where impeccable service is matched only by its breathtaking setting. Waking up to the stunning views over Lake Geneva and the Alps was truly unforgettable and a room with a view is highly recommended.  This is one of those rare hotels that feels like a home away from home and will hold a special place in my heart. We can already see ourselves returning year after year. Thank you to everyone at the Grand Hotel du Lac for making our stay so memorable.

We had an excellent 4 night stay in the panorama suite (room #24). The room was exceptionally clean and the view is a Swiss Matterhorn dream - phenomenal. Pano suite was perfect for 2 adults and one teen. Infinity pool and outdoor sauna were our favorite amenities, wish they were open past 8pm. The indoor whirlpools (a chilly 30c/86f) are open until 9:00 but way too cold to be relaxing. We had dinner one night in the bar and enjoyed our meal. We did not try the restaurant. Thought it was a bit too pricey for what was offered. The staff was helpful and friendly - particularly the front desk, breakfast staff, and Anya, the concierge. Breakfast was delicious with an impressive spread that included make-your-own fresh pressed veggie juice and orange juice. We were sad to leave this property. Highly recommended.
