The property needs updating and a lot of work. Our first room was in bldg 8 which the air conditioning didn’t work. For 3 days we were told by management that it would be fixed that day. The third night it was 85° felt like 92 with the humidity. Talked to Angie, the supervisor on duty, and she repeatedly told me it was fixed and working. She basically called me a liar. After telling her everything else wrong with our Sun Club room (drawer knobs falling off the dresser, only one of two shower doors, the gap in our door and no air conditioning) and demanding compensation and a different room, we were finally given a different room at 8:30 that evening. Unlike management, all the other staff The excellent customer service. The food was just okay. The rooms were clean but needed updating. The beach, water, and view were great. This was my second stay at a Sunscape Resort. They both are in badly need for updates. I will not stay in one of their resorts again.

Everyone was soooo friendly, I felt so safe at this resort! It’s not completely modern but it’s still clean and comfy and they don’t try to overcharge. I would definitely stay here again !

Everything was wonderful staff was phenomenal. On site buffet food was lacking a bit and you don’t get a restock on your fridge except water. Very close to many things to do and great restaurants outside the resort

Handling of drinks at the bar was not cleaned, rinsing of silverwares and cups was quick and no ice machine and no dishwasher. The main buffet dining area had no net, just open area where there were a lot of flies around the food and dining area. Staff was slow to clean up the tables and served drinks.

Sunscape was a very nice place to stay for my 7 days. It is a tranquil place that offers maximum relaxation. The staff made my experience even more pleasant. My room was spacious and well maintained by housekeeping throughout my stay. On a scale of 1-10 food was about 4.5. Dining options are repetitive. Not sure why restaurants have the same menu every day. It would be nice if there was an omelette station during breakfast. My biggest peeve was the Sunclub membership that is suppose to offer premium alcohol. The premium alcohol ran out almost every evening and wasn’t replaced until the next day, so I don’t think Sunclub membership is worth it. The evening entertainment was mediocre but they tried. Overall I would vacation at Sunscape again minus the Sunclub membership.’

The rooms are old and in poor condition. Our first room, an upgrade to a honeymoon suite (when my MOTHER and I specifically requested a double bed room with Sun Club acces) had a busted pipe underneath the sink. When you turned on the sink faucet, water spilled out of the hole in the pipe and flooded the bathroom floor. I immediately requested another room and was told that they couldn't move Us because there were no available rooms. They said they would send a maintenance person but how do you fix a hole in the pipe without actually replacing the pipe? Fortunately there was another hotel guest who is having a different problem and needed to switch their room as well. They offered for us to take their room once they were moved. Great. So we had a room that no longer had a busted pipe. However, we traded that in for a room with a non-working AC and ants all over the dresser. The heat finally became unbearable and a few days later we asked to be moved to another room. They did give us a room with an ocean view and a working AC. However this time we had to deal with mosquitoes and, on the last night we were there, a roach in the shower.The staff did the best they could with the resources that they had but this hotel just needs to be completely overhauled and refurbished. We paid $3,800 for 7 days and I feel very cheated. The hotel states that they have five restaurants. However, not all five restaurants are open or available everyday, severely limiting dining options.

Property needs updating. Dinning was very limited. If you’re looking for a bare minimum resort, this is it. The staff is pleasant but don’t expect anything to be taken care of right away. Not what you would expect for an “all inclusive “ resort.

The beach was amazing. The resort itself was subpar. We had limited or no air conditioning and hot water on several occasions. The maid service neglected to give us linen. The food selection was very minimal. We did enjoy the scenery and the walk to Mumba Beach.

This is the 5th time sataying at Sunscape. The staff are top notch and deliver excellent service. Shout out to Kenneth and Norma at the bars and Ria at the Sunclub desk!! We love the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The buffet staff are very hood as are the staff at the specialty restaurants. The cleani n.v g staff are very thorough. All in all a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. The snorkeling in the lagoon is AMAZING!!

As someone that loves all inclusive and has stayed at several I can say this was hands down one of the worse experiences. We asked for our A/C to be serviced several times and was assured someone would fit it after confirming it was in fact broken yet no one ever came. Instead we were given a fan. Makes no sense to pay extra for room service when the room service staff never answered the phone when called. The resort app didn’t work or request weren’t responded to. I’m a big foodie, and was very disappointed by the food here. Nothing was good. Rooms were half cleaned. Concierge stated I couldn’t get drinks to the room because the mini bar has beverages however room service brought drinks the day before. Mini bar only had sodas and waters. Wasn’t filled on time. All around a 2 experience and that’s beginning kind.

Overall, our stay was wonderful, BUT...we tried for three days to get our air conditioner looked at with no success. The room never got cool to the point of being comfortable. Complaints to the front desk went unheeded. Everything else about the resort, the island, and our trip was great.

I liked the beach and some staff was nice but majority was not nice. The food was great though but there was a long waiting time and also the staff often forgot my order. My room had a roach in it and it wasn't the cleanest.

The air conditioning system didn't work for the whole 5 days we were there. We had to ask for portable fans to help cool us down at night-time. False advertising, the pictures are all photo shopped and facilities need major work. Not a big variety on food, buffet for breakfast is ok and i must shout out to Natalie that works the breakfast buffet always made sure we got seats and she remembered what my family drank and on the days my lids couldn't dine in she wrapped their food

Staff was amazing and overall we had a great time but the buildings and rooms could definitely use some renovation and updating. We had water dripping from a vent on our ceiling and our friends room had no air conditioning. The beach is wonderful and we don’t spend much time in the room so we still had a great time!

The Sunscape Curacao has one of the best beaches near Willemstad. The proximity to Mambo Beach & Blvd make it a great location and only 10 minutes bus from Willemstad. The pool is beautiful against the Caribbean Sea and the Sun Club private pool is a bonus. The buffet at World Cafe had a nice variety of food.The night time entertainment could be a bit more elaborate and the a la carte restaurants could be a bit more upscale. The room was nice but I would have preferred a stronger A/C. Overall, an excellent place to stay for convenience and friendly people.

Excellent location. Beach is lovely even though it’s a little rocky in some locations. Entertainment is excellent; bingo, daily auctions, carnival, shows every night. Their entertainment crew is really excellent. The pools are great. The rooms are extremely dated. The property looks nice but the rooms look very old. They have free kayaking, paddle boating and snorkeling gear included in the hotel stay, which is nice. Beautiful fish to view in the water. Food really needs work. The quality and variety of the food was not great. My son has allergies to eggs and everyday he had cereal and milk, which we brought with us thankfully. Nothing has labels in the hotel and the staff are not very aware of the severity of allergies. They say things like, “it shouldn’t have eggs!” How can we take that risk? Martin the chef was great and he tried his best to get fresh food made for my son but even he was out of breakfast options since the hotel items like bread, pancake mix, pasta and pizza etc all had eggs. The dinners were better as there were always the option of grilled meat or grilled fish and rice. Martin made beef patties for him and chicken shawarma etc. which was excellent for lunch. Food is pretty much the same options each night and lunch time too, so it can get a little repetitive. They randomly close restaurants without updating the app, which is unfortunate. Service is slow but it is the same for all islands in my experience. Balconies are just for one person to stand.

The location was perfect with its own private piece of the pristine beach. Staff were extremely friendly/helpful and I felt very safe on & off the premises (I would not mind coming back alone). I enjoyed being able to go from the beach to the pool & vice versa. The food was great but the alcohol inventory can def use an upgrade even if it cannot be premium/VIP status (perhaps those can use a refresh as well and move those bottles to the non VIP population). Entertainment was just right and enjoyable. Property can use some upgrade. The room was extremely spacious but can also use an upgrade. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay.

The staff at this resort was very rude and lacked common manners. This resort also needs more activities to cater to all guest young and old. I came to celebrate my 25th and it did not give birthday, it was quite boring actually. The only staff that was great was NORMA & SHAYRON. They were amazing and made me feel very welcomed!

The staff here were so friendly but service for the most part was very slow. Facilities were very clean and safe, pools were very nice and the beach was very clean and absolutely beautiful. Sun Club - not worth it at all. The service was etremely slow. The “private bar’ with “premium alcohol” - not really a thing. The bar was not a fully stocked bar at all and the service was SO slow. It’s actually more worth it to walk up the beach to the other bars. Also, our room was not cleaned - beds were only made and the fridge was not stocked for 3 days despite calling down 4 times and requesting it to be stocked. This is just a warning to not spend the money on the Sun Club. One other point - when we were checking in, it took forever. We waited over an hour with two people ahead of us and we were not allowed to go to the front desk to check-in even though there were no guests there at all. Very disappointing.

We loved our stay. The all-inclusive food & drinks were good and plentiful, and towels were never an issue. The biggest pleasant surprise was that the hotel beach was lovely and very spacious, not only for good swimming but for some very good snorkeling! This is an all inclusive resort but the food at all of the restaurants at Sunscape were horrible, especially the Italian restaurant. Just bad. Thank GOD Mambo Beach was 10min walking distance. We had to leave the resort that we paid for an All Inclusive experience to get decent meals at Mambo Beach. The staff were friendly and nice, but very forgetful. The food court was the only breakfast location and was dirty. There were spills on the floor. I even witnessed one of the workers slip and almost fall while waking. And even after that, it still wasn’t cleaned up. For the tables, instead of using a regular salt shaker, they placed small cups of salt, uncovered on each table. Mind you, they had black pepper shakers. The drinks were severely watered down. I’m not even much of a drinker. But after 3 drinks and feeling absolutely nothing, I quickly realized, they’re watering down the drinks to stretch the alcohol. They didn’t even have bandaids. I accidentally cut my finger and went to the front desk to ask for a first aid kit. They didn’t even have bandaids. I literally had to buy bandaids from the gift shop. At night, the rooms smelled like sewage, (poop). The entertainment was great. Beach was beautiful. The bathrooms are small. Room was fine. Wouldn’t recommend.
