I booked this room super last minute due to a missed flight. When I arrived, I discovered that the hotel was under construction. I was given a room on the second floor and when I arrived, the entire floor outside of my room was covered in dust and there was construction equipment all over the place.
While in my room, I was unable to relax because the construction noise was so loud. I had to go sit in the lobby for a while, going back and forth to the room to see if the noise had subsided. By 8pm, the noise was so loud that my head hurt.
I spoke with the manager and expressed my concerns. At no point during the booking process was it clear that there would be construction. He told me that he would process a refund, but I have not received one as of today. I have tried to follow-up twice to no avail. In no world should I have had to pay for a hotel room that I was unable to be in comfortably until 9pm, that was surrounded by construction equipment and dust.
With all this said, Michelle at the front desk was an absolute delight.
