NO CAR REQUIRED, 1/2 a mile to the Ballston, Arlington va Metro. This home is the one place where large gatherings are centrally located in the heart of Ballston Quarter. WALKERS PARADISE, 1 min walk to Ballston Quarter full of restaurants, bars, shopping, and unique modern architecture (Target, Macys, Chick fil- A, Whino, Teds Bulletin, Regal Cinimas, and so much more. 6 Bed home plus top floor den used as a 7th bedroom Driveway can fit 3 cars

. Kitchen featuring a kitchen island w/ 2 barstools
Appliances include T-fal pots and pans, 4 slot toaster, keurig coffeemaker plus pods and creamer, knife set, 3 set Ninja blender, rice cooker, cutting board, and an assortment of kitchen accessories.

Family Gathering

We were in town for a funeral service at arlington. The host was able to give us great recommendations for both food and activities to do while we stayed. The home was extremely clean when we arrived. Everyone in our party was above the age of 18 but there were multiple accommodations throughout the home if you did have small children. The home was also walking distance to multiple shopping areas as well as food if you do not have a vehicle.

Perfect for our needs

My family and I really enjoyed this home. It is exactly as pictured. The house was well stocked with the items typically in vacation homes (although I did not see a broom, dust pan nor mop). As other guest have mentioned, please be careful with the hot water. It is extremely hot. Since it’s a commercial heater, I would recommend the owner lowering the temperature.

HUGE home!

This is a huge home in a nice neighborhood near lots of restaurants and shopping; about a 10-minute walk to the nearest Metro. The house was clean and very well kept. There were two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and the other three bathrooms were in communal areas. There were six bedrooms and a loft bedroom (it was on the third floor with no restroom and of course a bit warmer since it was on the top floor). Kitchen was small but well appointed with a huge dining room table and nice living room area. Lovely front porch. We always had plenty of hot water and great pressure in the showers. The air conditioning works so well that some of us had to close the vents in the bedrooms because it became too cool for some (always tough to get it just right for a large group). There are steps to get to any of the bedrooms as well as significant steps into the house so not great for somebody with mobility issues. At this price some upgrades that should have been included were kitchen towels, bathroom hand towels, and luggage racks in each bedroom. However the beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had a nice TV. I also appreciated that they were very minimal cleaning instructions; we were only asked to start the dishwasher. There was enough off street parking for several cars. I would definitely rent this house again as long as we didn't have someone who couldn't walk up steps.

Positive Experience Overall

At a lower price point, this would be an exceptional rental, but at the premium price, we expected a bit more attention to detail. On the positive side, the beds and linens were dreamy clouds and DELIGHTFUL to sleep in. The house was clean. The extra kitchen in the basement was a nice touch, though we didn't use it, and the place matches the letter of the description. The online photos are also accurate. The focus is clearly on the inside of the house. The yard could use some basic maintenance. Although it wasn't stifling, there was a constant strange odor in the basement and the shower down there offers only two extreme settings - scalding or cold. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped, but a few more items would be helpful. We could have used a pasta strainer, for example. Also, the toilet paper holders in some of the bathrooms were loose to the point where the toilet paper had to sit on the floor or the back of the toilet. The landlord was responsive when we had difficulties getting in and graciously allowed us to check in early. With a modest amount of maintenance, it could truly be a premium experience worthy of the price.

Great Location

We loved this home and it was in a great location near the Metro and close to lots of restaurants. The house itself was really nice. The only thing I would add are some dressers in the rooms or luggage holders, it was hard to have a place to put stuff. The host was very nice and communicated the whole time to make sure we were taken care of. He even let us drop our luggage early so we weren’t lugging it around DC! So very nice!
