"First time staying at an Archer Hotel and the one in Napa did not disappoint & was awesome. We loved our room, it was clean & very well-appointed. The location is great, walking distance to many restaurants & bars including Oxbow Public Market. The rooftop bar was very nice to look out over the city & river valley & made great cocktails. We enjoyed the rooftop pool which had permanent lounge chairs set in a shallow pool to cool off on a hot sunny day. Many comfortable loungers and even outside fireplaces for cool evenings on the rooftop. Fitness center that has nice, updated equipment and a place to refill your water bottles. The woman (Lisa?) who checked us in was very courteous & professional. I don’t think there are any negatives about the hotel itself. The valet parking can be very busy & not a lot of spaces for unloading in front of the hotel during busy times. Valet was always prompt bringing our car out front. It would have been nice to have a store in the hotel that sells sun dries. After a day of wine tasting, I was experiencing some heartburn/acid reflux. I couldn’t find a drug store or shop nearby that sold Tums or Roland’s. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Archer Hotel in Napa & would stay here again."

"This is not a hotel. It is a Motel. Room was discussing. Smelled like Urine. The chair that was in the room had what looked to be mucous. I booked it through Hotels.com which were of no help to get a refund. We were not provided with accommodations which they lied to Hotels.com saying they tried to accommodate. LIER... Not even an hour in we were able to book a different Hotel for the same price. Stay far away from this Motel. "

"This place exceeded our expectations. It’s charming and Runie is a lovely host. The location is perfect for walking to dinner, shops or train. We stayed in the Merlot house and it was quite spacious and comfortable. There was a small kitchen outside our room set up with coffee, tea and water which we utilized and was convenient to have. The patio outside is beautiful which we enjoyed for our morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The breakfast provided is the perfect portion of savory and sweet to start the morning. There was a complimentary wine social in the evening with a generous selection of wines and starters. Ariel greeted us for the social and was wonderful. We were a group of four ladies traveling and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Runie and Ariel are great people and really made us feel at home. If you have the opportunity to stay here, definitely do it. You will love the ambiance. "
