Best place to stay in Venice!

The apartment was perfect for our trip. It was a few floors up which made for a great view out the balcony windows of the bustling people and lights below. Right in the middle of everything - great restaurants, Rialto Bridge, and all the places you want to go. It was a bit difficult to find as it was down a narrow dark walkway, but follow the gps and you’ll be fine. I highly recommend!

Property was spacious, clean and in a great location. You have to go up 3 flights of stairs to apartment and the beds are on the form side for side sleepers. Apartment was on the warm side as the air conditioning will not allow you to turn it up however I believe this is not uncommon for most of Europe.

Front desk lady was very unfriendly and not helpful. She claimed we had 2 bookings. Told her we booked only one room, but we received an error after the first booking, so we made another booking for a similar place. Did not realize it was at the same place. Told her we need only one room and she can cancel the second booking. No, she made us making phone calls to Expedia. Only took us 2 hours to get through... You don't get the exact address in advance to plan your arrival, but only upon arrival. That means as a foreigner I have to buy extra data in Italy to get the exact address. Then the map is not readable and the place is hard to find in the small alleys. When we finally ask in a bar, they knew immediately that we were looking for 'San Marco'. So we are not the only tourists wandering helplessly.... The apartment is large, but the equipment leaves much to be desired. The kitchen table is self-built, wobbely and can not be used to prepare some food ... Bed ends are completely scuffed.... TV in the bedroom does not work... Wifi also not...Water pressure in shower really low.. only plus point: the location is great and everything is within walking distance...

Schönes Appartement in top Lage

Eine super Unterkunft, auch noch recht ruhig und absolut zentral gelegen. Einziges Manko - .es war zu kalt und die Heizung würde laut "Rezeption" automatisch anspringen, das tat sie aber nicht. Leider haben die beiden doppelbetten auch nur je eine Bettdecke, mag nicht jede(r).

The apartment was very nice, however the water was brown Colored for the first 30 minutes, one of the showers did not work...the heating was not turned on and we wore coats the whole time.. no extra blankets. Internet signal intermittent..

Appartamento molto bello e ampio. Letti comodi. Peccato non trovare nemmeno la carta igenica per il prezzo. In generale siamo stati bene, abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti, ottima la posizione. Abbiamo pagato per dei servizi che non hanno funzionato. 1 doccia non funzionante, per fortuna c’era un altro bagno Tv non funzionava Bidet in un bagno non usciva l’acqua. In generale siamo stati bene.

Finding the check-in office is a little difficult if you're lugging bags with you, but once there it was easy and efficient. We stayed in Apt 2. Loved the space and especially the balcony for enjoying dining and views, but be prepared there are 70 steps up to the door. With luggage it is pretty challenging (but worth it if you can do it)

This apartment was large, spacious and clean. The check in process was easy as the office is near the train station. It could have more kitchen amenities supplied - there were no glasses for drinks or wine, limited dishware and silverware, no coffee and tea. There was alot of walking around noise coming from upstairs until 1am and starting early in the morning. I would stay again though as the location and space was great!

Reception problem

The reception office is really far away from the apartment. When we arrived we were waiting for 35 minutes. They were so slow. And there were 2 of them. We asked the reception office to check other dates to prolong our stay, they didn’t help. We asked to send sms with the code as in Venice the Internet is the problem, we even checked if sms is ok or not at the reception, they sent us via whats app and we were with the infant!!!! It took us so much time to wait for the sms!!! Check in is at 3 pm that is very late. But the apartment is amazing.

Great location and stay

The location is great and central to everything you need with shops and restaurants within easy reach. The waterbus is also a few minutes walk from the apartment so you can travel all over Venice easily. The only thing we had an issue with was the condition of the kitchen as nothing worked and lacked basic necessities like paper towel, napkins, dishsoap, with no microwave. Also when we got to the apartment the dishwasher was leaking small amounts of water which turned out to be much more when we returned back to the apartment after roaming Venice all day and had to call reception to come and fix. If it was leaking, they should have given us another room. There are about 4 flight of stairs to reach the apartment which was really tiring after a long day of touring. But aside from that beds were comfortable and living room decoration was clean and nice.

There were many reasons why this apartment was below standard. It started with the checkin point being a long way away from the apartment itself. There was a long wait at the checkin point as only one lady was operating it and answering phones and letting other people inside the building. All the people arriving were tired from their travel, then they had to experience a long wait, and then work out how they would get to their allotted apartment. This is simply not good enough and no care was shown or given to anyone. The apartment itself was disappointing right from the front entrance - the front entrance was dirty and the steps leading up to the apartment were also very unclean and dated and clearly needing painting. Many things were broken inside the apartment - the shower head mount was broken; the bathroom sink plug was jammed; the scissors were broken & unusable; light switches buzzed when you turned them on; there was no dish cloth to clean the dishes with; there was no chopping board and the kitchen was poorly stocked with utensils. The experience communicated an enormous lack of respect for the holidaying occupants. This was further demonstrated by there being no area available to store luggage after a strict 10am checkout (when indeed there is ample room inside the stairwell to the apartment). I would never stay here again and will never recommend this apartment to anyone. Every aspect from checkin to checkout demonstrated a complete lack of care & respect.

We stayed in the 2 bed 2 bath w/balcony - which is 3 flights of stairs upwards. We didn't mind the stairs - good exercise! Water pressure was very strong, although the shower nozzle was rather flimsy and did not stay on the holder. There is a washing machine for clothes but we didn't use it - good to know though. If staying more than a few days, buy toilet paper/dish soap/paper towels as it is not provided. Apt was large and comfortable + balcony which looks down to shoppes below and a church across the way. Went in July/Aug so the climate is very hot during this time, however, the apt has air conditioning which is quite nice. Location is excellent! walking distance to all sites, shoppes, pharmacie, markets but very quiet to relax from the hustle and bustle. Checkin was easy - we got driven to the reception from the aeroport and took a water bus to the apt, cost 7.5 euros pp (which is located directly below the office) took approx 20 mins, and 5 min walk to our place. The entrance to the apt is in an obscure alleyway so it can be easy to miss. Reception arranges aeroport pickup/dropoff, and they are very responsive and friendly. Excellent choice for all ages, except those who are not able to manage stairs. It is centrally located but feels a world away once inside - clean and charming apt. We would definitely stay here again next time in Venezia:).

Plenty of room for a family of 5 we fit with the sofa bed a bit of a walk to the top floor but nice and close for getting around. Small issue with getting the AC going in the beginning but that was resolved very quickly and easily with the flick of a switch. Great communication from the office.Enjoyed our stay, would definitely book again in the future.

Apartment location excellent. Living space good but bedrooms small. Shower clip broken in one bathroom which meant the shower head had to be held whilst showering. Water pressure was horrendous. Apartment would benefit from upgrading. Patio area great. Lots of stairs to climb to get to the apartment. Check in takes place at a separate building which is a hassle.
