Clean quiet

The hotel is a from of railway station, 2 min by walk to the center. Very clean, quiet, nice and helpfull receptionist.

Från balkongen på tredje våningen kunde man se en parkering. Kanske vore det möjligt att komma överens med den fastigheten o hyra några p- platser. Det är inte roligt att parkera en mc flera hundra meter från hotellet.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude am Bahnhof. Was dies für bahnreisende Gäste angenehm macht, ist nachts ein Fluch. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ist an Schlaf nicht zu denken. Klimaanlage wäre wünschenswert! Ansonsten sehr zufrieden! Es ist eine Inklusionseinrichtung, was wir sehr begrüßen!

Our train arrived after 9pm and the hotel was closed. I had put that in the comments section that would be arriving late, but didn't know we would be arriving to locked doors. After having the bar owner next to the hotel call the owner, he arrived and let us in. Was very nice and apologized but was very frustrating as a tourist. Chose this hotel because of how close it was to the train station. Room was clean but very small. I had no way of calling the hotel since it was a European number and our phone only worked on wifi settings. Due to the inconvenience I wouldn't stay again.

Utterly lovely Trier also known as Treves! This is a wonderful city very close to Luxembourg and very easy to drive to from Frankfurt once you leave Frankfurt :-). The drive to Luxembourg along the Mosel River Valley is also very beautiful.

Hotel mit Zimmerempfehlung nach hinten

Wir können aufgrund der Lage zum Bahnhofsvorplatz das Hotel nur bedingt weiterempfehlen. Die Zimmer zum Bahnhofsvorplatz hin sind von der Lautstärke her schon eine Herausforderung für uns gewesen und teilweise zeiht auch der Qualm von Rauchern aus den direkt darunter liegenden Restaurants/Gaststätten in die Zimmer hinein. Die Betten hingegen waren in absolutem TOP-Zustand nach unserer Wahrnehmung. Das Personal hat einem Zimmerumzugswunsch ohne Probleme entsprochen und keinen Aufschlag genommen. Unser Fahrrad konnte in einem Hotelraum abgestellt werden.

Einfaches Hotel zentral am Bahnhof

Ich hatte im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise nach Luxemburg ein zentrales Hotel nahe Bahnhof für 1 Nacht gesucht. Das Vinum liegt wirklich zentral am Bahnhof. Freudlicher Empfang, sehr kleines, spartanisches Zimmer mit einem Bett, leider sehr hellhörig da die knarrende Holztreppe im Zimmer und vor allem im Bad zu hören sind (Stufen sind direkt im Bad/Decke zu sehen). Dusche neu und sauber. Für eine Nacht ok, Preis-/Leistung akzeptabel. Nett dass es ein kleines Fläschchen Wein gratis gibt.

Great location

You cannot find a better location for train travel, just cross one small street. Many coffee shops and quick food in immediate location. Touristy stuff is 5 minute walk away. The check in ladies were wonderful.

All I needed was a place to sleep and shower, within walking distance of the train station. That's really all it was. Small room, very musty smelling, but comfortable with all I needed. I wasn't able to have the included breakfast buffet due to my early train. A couple of restaurants on the same block.

De locatie van het hotel is perfect (aan het station en op loopafstand van het centrum). Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op wat schimmel in de badkamer en een hard matras na was ook de kamer helemaal in orde.

The hotel is really close to the main bus terminal and a short walk to all the tourist sites. Unfortunately there's no AC and it gets really hot and stuffy. The rooms are also really small and there's not really anywhere in the immediate vicinity​ to eat. Their buffet breakfast is really good though and worth the €7.

Great location but the hotel is terrible.

If you find any of these things to be important… hot water, heat in the room when it is cold outside, and functioning Internet… then don’t stay here. And the breakfast that is included is barely edible. In spite of my repeated requests, the room was never warm enough. Of my 7 nights there, at night the temperature outside reached around 45 degrees Fahrenheit (7 degrees Celsius). There was little or no heat in the room. To stay warm, I improvised a system where I would turn on the shower and leave the door of the bathroom open. After about 45 minutes of this, the room would be warm (but also full of steam). My last night there, I had no heat in the room at all…. And the trick with the shower would not work because there was no hot water. I could not take a shower before leaving on my return trip to the US. The Internet was so slow and unreliable that I was unable to check my email. The only way I could see my email was to connect to my computer at home and read it that way. The technician came the second day to work on it and it was better, but barely. A download speed of 3 GBPS was the fastest it would maintain and an upload of .5 (yes, less than 1). The only real food they offered at breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon. It was obvious that it was microwave food, not cooked there. And there was never enough. They were constantly running out. Everything else consisted of cereals, bread, and cheese.

Traveled w/ 2 Kids - No Problems!

We stayed at the Hotel for only one night, but with a 7- and 2-year old. The staff brought a roll-away bed and a pack-and-play for our little one. The lady at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect English. The hotel is right next to the train station as well. Highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Convenient for station. Basic but comfortable.

The hotel is located just across from both the train and bus stations and close to Trier's old town. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, and the room was basic but clean and comfortable. The shower was phenomenal! Very serviceable breakfast served 'til 10am. Apparently run as a charity!

Goed verblijf in hotel Vinum

Het comfort was niet super, maar de bediening daarentegen wel. De bedden zijn goed. De kamer was niet groot, maar voor een verblijf van één nacht zeker voldoende. We konden de auto parkeren op een prive parkeerplaats van het hotel, maar daar moest wel voor betaald worden. Het laatste was ons al bekend, dat staat gewoon in de beschrijving van het hotel, dus dat was geen verrassing. Het ontbijt was goed en compleet, niets op aan te merken. We hadden dit hotel gekozen vanwege de ligging (dicht bij het centrum) en de prijs.
