"Just an overnight stay. Arrived hotel around 7pm. check-in was smooth. The location about 1 km away from the main street and in the same building as a Karaoke bar. Unfortunately, my room is closed to the karaoke room and can hear the singing and music until midnight... luckily. Breakfast is average. A bowl of pho is all I took. Overall ok stay considering the price. "

"We had a very very good stay here for 1 night following a busy few days seeing the sights of northern Vietnam. The Moc dining dinner was one of the best meals we had in Hanoi area. "This is the third time that I have stayed at Rex Hanoi, the staff are fantastic, especially Rose at reception, nothing is too much trouble for her. She helped us rearrange our room without any hassles. Hotel is in a great position near the lake. Try for a higher room as street noise can be a bit loud from the lower floors. "

"I took the standard room and it was very clean and modern. It is very small and compact, you litterally open the door into the bedroom and there is another door for bathroom. It was very hot when I was there, the A/C wasn't very strong but with the fan on, I could sleep well. The door key is also used to power the room and this is common in many places. So during the day, the room got hot and the fridge, warm. It takes about 20 min for the room to cool down once you put the power back on since it is a small room. There was a power outage in the middle of the night so it got real hot, for about an hour while power was restored. I heard power outages are comon in Hanoi so not the hotel's fault. For the price and location, you can't go wrong. If you want your fridge and room to stay cool during the day, I was told (unfortunately only during checkout) that I could have asked for a second key. "
