Hotel staff was said to know English but I had to open translator most of the time. I went to dinner, but the order came out wrong and the staff showed an attitude of ignorance as if it was all my fault. Also, the dessert I ordered didn't come out even after an hour, so I told about desset while paying, and then the staff member told me to take it away. When I told him I didn't want to eat anymore, she said she couldn't cancel it because she had already charged on the bill. It's ridiculous and absurd... I didn't want to be stressed out about dessert 35k VND any more, so I just paid and left the dessert. The staff service at 4-star hotels is worse than that of street vendors. I spent a total of 2 weeks here while on a business trip to Vietnam, but I will never came back. Service is better at Indochina Hotel or Phoenix Hotel or Senna Hotel. The hotel requires passports and the only reason we were allowed to skip this process was because a VN friend worked with management to agree to hold funds like any other hotel would do. The first room was dirty with hair everywhere and weird red/brown stains all over, the second room was full of mold and the third room was passable but smelled like smoke and probably mold. We figured this was probably the best option we would get. The food was disgusting and not clean. Shrimp still had veins.
