I was pleasantly surprised overall. Checking in and out was smooth and without issue. I booked a single room, which are located in the basement. Really no street noise and the room was clean and a/c worked great. Pleasantly surprised by the additional private bathrooms and single shower. You have access to the upstairs shared restrooms, as well, but this made it a lot easier. The view of the 3 beds in a single room (317) is very Taiwan, with hundreds scooters waiting at traffic light. This hostel has alot of amenities: roof top lounge, laundry room, water refill station, bidet on toilet and luggage storage. The service is excellent: front desk personnel from 8 am to 10 pm. Afterward it is entry by door card. There is also a self check in after 10pm. There are cameras on every floor. There was nowhere to put the washing stuff you need while you use the sink. You have to go back and forth to the dressing table for if you have contact lens solutions, face wash, brush your teeth etc. Otherwise it’s ok for the price. Staff are nice and friendly. The blankets were the size of a small towel - not wide enough to wrap around a small person's body. The front desk just shrugged at any complaints.
