But other than that, it was not pleasant to stay at this Guide hotel. There was a strong cigarette smell in the hallway. Smell of wet musky carpets in the room. Smell of onions from the outside streets. We found at least 7 ANTS in the room, on the bed, walls and floor. Dirty stains everywhere, and damaged walls and door. So dusty everywhere, they don't use vacuum to clean, only a lint roller for the carpet. Century old dust on the walls, window blinds and TV. The AC is hard to control. Either very hot or very cold. The bed sheets were not done properly, it would slide off/out everyday. I had to keep tucking it back in. I don't know why but we wake up to greasy face every morning.
