« I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. »

« It started out with no contact from host. Took 1/2 hour to get code. Owners appear to be on property. At night could not get door to stay shut, put a chair against it. Traffic from Hwy 63 was very noisy. I was ok about the airport noise as they disclosed it. Only stayed 1 night due to the above issues. Paid for 2 nights but wasn't worth staying. »

« The cabin was actually nicer than the pictures gave them credit for. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The bathrooms were much nicer than expected. Both the cabin and the bathrooms were very clean. The grounds around the cabin really needed a good mowing. It would have been helpful if firepit tools for moving hot logs or cleaning out old charred pieces of wood were provided. Not something we have to bring with us. »

« Spacious home, with lots of little sitting areas for everyone to have quiet time on their own. We enjoyed being walking distance from the Root River Trail. Short drive to Lanesboro where there was plenty to do.We were lucky to be in Lanesboro for the Rhubarb Festival, which was enjoyed by all. We also went to the The Mane Theatre for an excellent satire, "The Outsider". Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. »

« My family and I are so happy we found this house for my Mom’s birthday weekend! The location is great. It’s very convenient if you like to golf, it’s in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful view. We loved the sunroom as a gathering space and had fun using the arcade games, pool, and deck. The space itself was clean and checking in was easy! Thank you for a great stay, we would happily choose to stay here again if we find ourselves back in Wabasha! »

« We stayed in the Bear cabin which was very clean upon arrival and welcoming. The patio has a table and chairs outside which was very helpful as we forgot our camping chairs! Every interaction with the owners was very friendly and helpful. Grills look nice but could use a little TLC. Making sure they have a full tank and that they are working. Between two nearby we couldn't get them going. They had extra propane tanks but by the time we realized we were too hungry and cooked inside instead. One...

« Awesome host’s with great communication. The home is very comfortable, must be okay with stairs. Clean, great beds, open feel with good lighting and windows throughout. Love the front porch. « We had a very nice long weekend here with teenagers. The beds were comfortable and the land was great for exploring! The kids enjoyed the endless pool. The showers had great pressure and the whirlpool was enjoyed by most - by it was a tub, not a hot tub. The kitchen, while manageable, could use some additions including spatulas, scrappers, cookie sheets - some items one might consider a staple. More practicable dinnerware and cups/glasses might be worth providing. We "figured" out how to work...

« Just keep in mind that the property is very old and so are all the appliances and furniture. When I say old, I mean clawfoot bathtub old. It’s not bad- they all seem to work fine- I just wasn’t expecting that based on the pictures. The house is also set up pretty weird and there are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Other than that, can’t complain. The place is very clean. « We were in town for appointments at Mayo Clinic, this apartment is close to Mayo, set up as a beautiful, relaxing place to be in between appointments. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. It was easy to find and very we’ll maintained, I would choose to stay here in the future. »

« We were very pleased with having this house to return to every day. We were here for Dr. Appointments for 1 month and this was perfect. It had everything we could have wanted or needed.
