The Space: All the beach gear you need for a day in the sun and on the sand is also included, with the seashore just a short walk out your front door. If you’re venturing out for shopping, dining, or nightlife, downtown St. Augustine is a 20-minute drive away. Just one look at Ocean Hibiscus and you’ll know that you’ve found the perfect place to host your next Florida vacation! Even indoors you won’t be far from the water courtesy of the home’s charming coastal décor and partial ocean views. Calming neutral tones and classically modern furnishings create a relaxing atmosphere while porcelain flooring provides cooling comfort from the southern heat. Leather sofa seating in the living room offers a comfy spot for a lazy evening watching movies on the smart TV. A high-top kitchen table can comfortably seat 4 with barstool seating at the kitchen counter for 2 more. The kitchen is well-equipped and features two-tone cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a drip coffee maker, and ample cookware. Back through the living room, step out onto the shaded balcony overlooking the community pool, furnished with outdoor lounge and café seating. The condo is a bit dated and well loved but all the amenities were in working order and everything we needed was made available to us. The condo is ample sized for 4-5 people. The pools and grounds are very nicely maintained and the beach is a short walking distance and also very well maintained by the public. There were a few restaurants that you could walk to (bike would be better) that were 1-1.5 miles away but we elected to drive. Downtown St. Augustine is a 8-10 minute drive and there are LOTS of dining options downtown and even in the St. Augustine beach area. Winn Dixie is 2 miles away and perfect to pick up your groceries for the week. Overall I was very happy with our stay at Ocean Hibiscus and would return given the opportunity. ##### Lori M. Location was great. Easy walk out to the beach and a 10 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine. Condo was clean and decently stocked. Bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time out on the balcony watching the ocean. Owners were extremely responsive any time that we messaged them with a question. Only suggestion would be to maybe wash the extra blankets in the condo as they smelled like someone had a pet using them and our family has pet allergies. The pools are nice and the condo is very affordable to be oceanfront. We had our air go out the 3rd day of our stay. Valerie got us in the condo right beside us and it was very nice. She was amazimg to deal with and is going to even comp us a couple nights for all our trouble. It was not at all the hosts fault and she was so nice. We will definitely be back next year!
