"We had a sea view room accessed via lift. All the staff are polite and approachable nothing is too much to ask.
The ocean waves lulled us to sleep and woke us ready for a new day. The town of Sidmouth is quaint by modern standards which only adds to it charm. A return visit is very likely. Many thanks Sidmouth."
"It was amazing, wonderful friendly staff, the breakfast was served at the table in a timely manner. Lovely outdoor heated pool and the Spa you could use at the Victoria which was no hassle only a very short walk. Plenty of parking and EV chargers if you need them. The hotel is also a short walk into town you don’t need to drive anywhere."
"Great hotel. Clean with hard working staff who were always polite and happy to help. Easy walking distance to the town centre and promenade. Would. Happily stay there again. "
"Wonderfully close to the promenade and the pretty town of Sidmouth. Most people had a cooked breakfast rather the a basic continental. Requests are available such as yoghurt. Lovely gardens with plenty of seating scattered around. Car parking a bit tight. We had the Duke Room which I would highly recommend. Excellent en-suite but a bit of scrub “under the rim on the toilet” required. We look forward to going again."

"The Hotel is approx 2 minutes walk from Torquay train station so very convenient . The foyer , entrance dining rooms bar area, swimming pool area are all excellently decorated in a style suitable for the age of the hotel, Th staff were also excellent. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we could use the stairs or lift. The room itself was practical and comfortable , but just a little bit dated compared to some other 4 start hotels of a similar age we have stayed in, as there was no air conditioning it would have been nice to have an electric fan to blow air around the room. In particular, the bathroom whilst functional , in my opinion could do with an update and a complete freshen up .....although it was perfectly usable. I cannot comment on any other room other than mine though and other rooms might have been updated. The bottom line is would i stay there again and the answer is YES. We really enjoyed our stay and the food at breakfast was varied and excellent. "

"The guest house is set off from tge main road in a quaint location. A convenient location for my stop.
You first walk in to the garden of the Tea Room, which is a beautiful secret garden. A real surprise.
The hosts are welcoming and friendly and the rooms rustic and comfy.
The cream tea was delicious as was the cooked breakfast in the morning.
A highly recommended stay"
