« We stayed slightly off-season here (mid September). The complex was very quiet and we were lucky to have a third-floor unit with a nice view from the balcony and some of the windows. « This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks, and the beach house was perfect for us. It is located right in the middle of the island - halfway to the Sound, and halfway to the ocean. « HipNautical is a wonderful find! Sitting on the deck you feel as though you are right on the beach! The house was very inviting with a lot of little touches that arent provided in other houses - a sweet welcome gift, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, kleenex, and even flashlights for the beach at night! The streaming services were also a welcomed surprise and tvs in all the bedrooms was really nice. Vicki was very communicative throughout the duration of our stay. I would definitely stay here...

« Lots of space for our family, very clean, and just a short walk to the beach. Private pool was a bit disappointing due to maintenance issues…water was clear but frequent skimming was required to clear bugs and leaves/debris from water surface because filter wasn’t working properly. Maintenance responded quickly, but unfortunately the problem wasn’t resolved. »

« My family, including my two dogs, absolutely enjoyed this cute beach cottage! It was walkable to many OBX restaurants, beach access, and a grocery store.
