  • My suite is located 5 minutes past Wright Memorial Bridge. Uniquely situated in a coastal preserve adjacent to a multi use path that will take you anywhere within Kitty Hawk, Duck or Kill Devil Hills. If you love biking, kayaking, surfing or just love nature this is the spot for you! A flight of stairs leads you to a private deck and entrance to an airy and spacious suite with everything you need to rest up for your daily adventures here on the beautiful Outer Banks. Byrd street beach access in Kitty Hawk is less than a ten minute drive with plenty of parking. All shopping and dining options are within a short bike ride or drive. We hope you enjoy the convenience and peace that our Bluebird Suite offers.

10 stars! It was so wonderful to be nestled in this woodland retreat as the forest provided relief from the relentless Heat Wave over 4th of July (250th!) weekend. Also a peaceful escape as it sits fairly far away from the highway and retail areas. The stairs are long, but doable if you aren't carrying much. Colleen is best hostess ever! No, seriously, she IS the best out of ALL my travel stays. Sweet touches and treats everywhere. Definitely coming back here.

Wonderful Place to Stay in Kitty Hawk, NC

Property and host were great. This is a perfect place to stay for a quick trip to the beach. It was quiet, clean and host was so welcoming. There were some really interesting walks through the Reserve, so you can come to the beach, enjoy the beach and enjoy the woods.

Colleen was a really nice host that let us use her beach equipment and bikes and had great recommendations. As for the space it was really clean, comfortable, and perfect for two people.

We loved our stay-close to amenities and short drive to OBX beaches. We were able to explore Corolla to Cape Hatteras. Our host took us on a bike trail through woodland area that was absolutely beautiful Her recommendation for local restaurants were spot on.on.Herrecommendation
