The pictures on the wall of the owner's family and the history of the cabin were a prefect touch and made it honey. The cabin is close to the main rd where am the stores and restaurants are. The lake is a quick drive. This was our first time to Shaver Lake and it was so relaxing because there was no tourists or crowds. At night there is perfect silence outside except for the hoot of the owls. Vacasa on the other hand was not so helpful. Even though they are up the street a few blocks away, there was never an actual person in the building when I needed something. I went by 3 times and to no avail. I had to contact the cabin owner directly. The owner was a great help and I got what i needed. Thank you Lisa for sharing your family cabin with us. Great memories were made!
