The 5th wheel was really nice too, slept like a baby. I think we turned the tv on twice. Tammy and John are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful.. two genuinely awesome host! "The house and property were absolutely beautiful - exactly the way it was portrayed online. I like to make breakfast on our family trips and the kitchen was fully equpped imo. The only thing missing was drinking water but luckliy we brought a case of bottled water. The house is in remote location in a quiet neighborhood. It's a perfect getaway from city life. We were 5 mintues from the Aurora Ferry. We took advantage of that and got to see Bath, Bellhaven and Washington across the Pamlico River. We visited the Fossil Museum and came home with a few shark teeth that we dug up from the lot. I recommend cooling down at the Blue Crab Boutique after digging in the hot sun. The ice cream there is delicious and it is also a gift shop with an adorable reading nook. The sweet woman who owns it did an amazing job removating the building. We got some seafood at Frank and Shirleys and took it back to the house to eat and watch TV. It was the best sleep I've had at a VRBO location. The pier was my kids' favorite part about the property. We have never been to the area and is a bit remote so I'd recommend bringing food and supplies initially if you need. Great getaway spot to disconnect with plenty of amenities and fully furnished kitchen."
