« We had everything we needed. The space was just the right size for 3/4 people. The outside was a little cluttered but didn’t bother us. I would offer a couple of recommendations: 1. Having some firewood for the wood stove would be a great addition. 2. A pullout couch would be better than the futon. 3. Need some space to hang hunting gear to help keep things better organized. We truly had a great time and space was great hope to come back next year! »

« We loved this cottage hidden behind island shrubs and trees. Both the front and back decks were peacefully enjoyed. The entire property is gated and very private, although close to the village. Kitchen was well equipped. Furniture was comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Outside shower was a dream. Amazingly quiet except for the sound of birds. « The house and property were absolutely beautiful - exactly the way it was portrayed online. I like to make breakfast on our family trips and the kitchen was fully equpped imo. The only thing missing was drinking water but luckliy we brought a case of bottled water. The house is in remote location in a quiet neighborhood. It's a perfect getaway from city life. We were 5 mintues from the Aurora Ferry. We took advantage of that and got to see Bath, Bellhaven and Washington across the Pamlico...
