Santo Ildefonso Vacation Packages

The most memorable experience. Would highly recommend this location to anyone! It’s literally picture perfect and the best location in all of Porto

The property was clean and quite spacious for a solo traveler. Complimentary wine, coffee, and tea were provided. The location was central but still seemed far from some places. The staff was responsive to queries and made sure the stay was comfortable. Overall, great stay in cozy apartment

We had an overall good stay, but the experience didn’t quite feel five star to us. There was some lovely touches and the service was warm, but the overall level of polish, attention to detail, and seamlessness you’d expect from a five star property wasn’t always there. (It also seemed like a slightly older building and so some of the things like the door hinges were aged as well.) We also found the 3 pm check-in quite late particularly after travelling and would have appreciated being able to settle in a little earlier. That said, the service was a highlight. Erica, at the front, in particular was wonderful - personable, helpful and genuinely informative about where to go and what to do in Porto. There were also some thoughtful touches waiting for us in the room, including a small place of truffle chocolates and champagne on arrival. Our balcony had beautiful views over the Douro River, and the location was perfect for us - very convenient for getting too many of the places we want us to visit around the city. Overall, a very pleasant day with great hospitality and beautiful setting and an excellent location.

Great location. Except for the fact there is a massive building project on the adjoining wall. It would have been nice to know that before booking. As at 0800 the Roto Hammer’s start a massive concert is n jackhammering noises. And this project will be ongoing for some time. If this would have been known before hand? I wouldn’t have booked. As I spent a lifetime in construction and wanted to leave the noise behind me. In affection, the A/c is more of a suggestion as it wouldn’t cool the room off as it should. I also ended up having to empty the water collection for the a/c 3 times. If not? There would have been gallons of water spilled on the floor. This was not disclosed about having to preform preventative maintenance. Check in? Was after 1500, not by much, but then they are strict about Che k out time they should be as strict about check in time. For the price? The value just wasn’t there.
